Steak 'n Shake, a classic American brand, was founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois by Gus Belt who pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milkshakes. For over 85 years, the company's name has been symbolic of its heritage. The word "steak" stood for steakburger. The term "shake" stood for hand-dipped milkshakes. Gus was determined to serve his customers the finest burgers and shakes in the business. Today, Steak 'n Shake remains the "better burger" leader, serving premium 100% beef steakburgers, hand-dipped milkshakes, thin crispy fries, and more. Steakburgers are made without preservatives or artificial ingredients, topped with fresh produce, and always hand-crafted to order. Other classics include the Frisco Melt, 7x7, Prime Steakburgers, and fan favorite M&M milkshakes.

Had a take out order. Food was really good, fresh real meat. Coleslaw was really good, but be prepared to wait 20 min for your food.

Excellent burgers and fries. And fantastic prices. We went back in the afternoon. For a milkshake. They are half price from 2 til 5. They also were delicious

Of course take a long time ... the service is too slow, too bad ... they wait until they see an entire family with children. The person who receives customers offers a very bad face

Understaffed expect too much out of 1 person hired to do grill but also wash dishes do prep dressing table make shakes and drive thru himself during lunch rush for $9.50 hr. Very understaffed and complain when struggling to keep up! And promise raises you won't see.

That is terrible. We only rate our experience at a location, we don't work for them. . You need to get in touch with the restaurants manager and let them know your experience

We were in the area for 5 weeks and used this place probably 8 times and only one time was I not 100% happy and even that time was not bad. They are open 24/7 and have a lot of staff most are great, its a cheap place and I could never not tip here

After you have sign up you can buy gift cards and put them on your cell phone smart app. When you go to pay it takes the money right from your account on your smart phone. Every time you spend $50.00 dollars it give you $5.00 back off of your bill. I use it all the time every time I go there to Steak n Shake.
